Noah Geisel has been teaching Spanish, English and Technology for 13 years. John Spencer is a full-time professor of instructional technology and the co-author of LAUNCH: Using Design Thinking to Boost Creativity and Bring Out the Maker in Every Student with A.J. Juliani. He blogs about creativity, design thinking, inquiry and more at SpencerAuthor.com. John has shared his vision for creative classrooms at a White House Future Ready Summit, a breakfast keynote at the ISTE Conference, and with a TEDx Talk.

John is passionate about seeing kids embrace creativity through design thinking. As a middle school teacher, this included murals, documentaries, STEM camps, and coding projects. As a dad, this has meant helping his kids with their elaborate pillow forts and home-made pinball machines. As a children’s book author, this has meant co-writing Wendell the World’s Worst Wizard (a book about a non-magical wizard who falls in love with robotics). It’s also why he co-founded the blogging platform Write About. As a professor of instructional technology, this means empowering new teachers to use technology and design thinking for creative reasons.

Lisa Highfill is an instructional technology coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned her masters in educational technology leadership and has been a classroom teacher for more than twenty years. As a MERIT fellow, Google Certified Innovator and a YouTube Star Teacher, she travels the globe presenting at EdTech conferences and speaking about lesson design and learning theory.

Kelly Hilton taught in the classroom for fifteen years and is currently an instructional coach in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She leads professional development on topics such as technology integration, global education, and reading/writing workshop. She is a MERIT fellow and the co-founder of Schoogle Digital Reboot Camp. Kelly is dedicated to collaborating with teachers daily in all subject areas on student-centered instructional design and delivery practices.

Sarah Landis is an instructional coach in the San Francisco Bay Area with more than fifteen years of experience in education. She has a masters in curriculum from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is also a MERIT fellow and the co-founder of Schoogle Digital Reboot Camp.
