Esther Park is a passionate English as a second language educator and a firm believer that every-kid-can-shine. ❤️️She has taught both in private and public school system for 15 years, and had the privilege of meeting students from all around the world with different language proficiency levels. Currently, she teaches newly-arrived and SLIFE (Students with Limited and/or Interrupted Formal Education) English language learners in Virginia.

Esther was born and raised in South Korea and moved out of her motherland at the age of 9. Growing up, she lived in four different countries including Dominican Republic and El Salvador. Once her family settled in the US, she made sunny, Southern California her home. Her unique immigration journey shaped her philosophy and ignited greater heart for English language learners.

Esther's passion is to empower all learners to reach their full potentials and give them the opportunity to achieve whatever they are capable of. Also, it gives her joy in helping all teachers have access to meaningful, relevant, and engaging resources to teaching English as a second language. She is a lover of tech and flair pens! 😍
