Ed is currently a STEAM Consultant at Kings County Office of Education and Director of a newly formed Non-Profit, Campo Creativo. He is also co-director of the STEAM Leadership Certificate program at the Krause Center for Innovation and is on the CS Steering committee for the MSCS grant. He was a software consultant for 3 years before answering his true calling as an educator. He taught high school Math and CS for 15+ years before becoming a consultant and now consults, presents, and speaks statewide and nationally. Ed has a passion for designing joyful and brain friendly learning spaces and empowering students and teachers with relevant practical and valuable skills. Personally, he has a passion for Hip-Hop, chalk art, creating charcuterie boards, & hiking in the great outdoors every chance he gets.
